ABOUT JENNY...
Jenny Alvarado is an author-illustrator living in sometimes sunny, mostly rainy, Florida. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Currently living on the Space Coast with her fiancé, son and dog. As the proud daughter of Cuban immigrants she feels lucky to have grown up in a city filled with her culture as well as a multitude of others. Growing up she didn't see it that way. Being a first generation American was confusing but the older she became the more she realized what a blessing it was. Her hope is to bring some of her experiences into her art and stories.
